My Daughter. The Wit.

19 Jun

Liv has a caustic type of wit.

She has an innate ability to put me in my place in just a few words.

She is not even four.

Me “I’ve got a stinking headache”

Liv “That’s because Daddy talks too much”

Liv “Why are you not talking Mummy?”

Me “I’m just thinking”

Liv “Does it hurt?”

Liv “Cut your jibba jabba. Fool!”

Liv “My bestest friend is called Hannah”

Me “That’s nice, have you told her that your Mummy is called Hannah”

LONG SILENCE

Liv “Not interesting!”

Wish me luck for the teen years! Please

Aww, she made me giggle too 🙂 My son is two and already appears to have inherrited my sarcasm and dirty looks at people who annoy me. I obviously blame his father for both of these though ;o)

      Obviously!

I am amazed how sophisticated their language and understanding is at such a young age.

They have started saying the things that I say, back to me. Sometimes I am left speechless!
