DIY Handcream

I have had a bottle of baby lotion that I have never used and it seemed a real shame to get rid of it, so I made up a batch of hand cream that I could keep for myself and put some away for little gifts at a later date.

This is what I did.

8oz Baby Lotion
4oz petroleum Jelly (the cheapest I could find)
4oz moisturizer (Just straight forward own brand stuff)

Throw all the ingredients into a bowl and whiz up until completely smooth and then using a piping bag I piped the mixture into the containers and popped a ribbon round them. Simples!

I have tried it out on my sore, chapped hands and it is very good. A little goes a long way and the camomile in the Baby lotion makes it smell lovely. It is perfect to put next to the washing up bowl for a post pots slather.
